Inspired by my 'rant' in today's Recruiter Daily, in response to an article titled 'Surveys launched to gauge jobseeker experience', I asked myself the question, should we reward Great Recruitment Consultants or reprimand them for blowing their own trumpet?
With the launch of this years SARA's a website Evenitup!' claiming to be the voice of the jobseeker and promising to 'shift the balance for jobseekers' has launched it's own campaign 'The Even It Up! SEEK anti-SARA awards!, which asks readers to whinge about the industry and it's consultants. In this ever competitive market is it such a bad thing to let everyone know that you have been regarded as professional &/or competent in your sector, particularly when the award is nominated by our clients / candidates?
In this recruiters opinion, no - but I'm open to other opinions....
